Kōaka uses hemp grown in Canterbury, New Zealand as the base of all products. To get the oil from the hemp plant we simply extract the oil from the raw organic hemp seeds.

Kōaka (hemp) contains Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA) which is an anti-inflammatory and is essential for wound healing and tissue repair.
The active botanicals and vitamins in each of our products also stimulates collagen and skin growth.

Products - We only use 100% natural ingredients. Our products are grown and manufactured right here in Aotearoa, reducing our carbon footprint.
Packaging - We make sure our packaging is as sustainable as possible. Using glass bottles for hemp seed oil, and hemp cardboard for solid shampoo bars.
Shipping - We use 100% compostable mailer bags. Once you receive your order you can put the bags straight into your green bin.
